A minha irmã é uma das minhas maiores fãs (não posso agradecer-lhe o suficiente!) e maiores críticas também, o que é óptimo.
Ultimamente, ela tem insistido que eu blogue sobre o "antes e depois" das minhas aventuras criativas. Depois de pensar sobre a ideia dela, decidi pôr as vergonhas para trás das costas e mostrar-vos como eu crio as minhas pregadeiras Origami.
Não é tão glamoroso como ás vezes certos blogues fazem crêr. E também não é tão descontraído como acontece á Carrie no "Sexo e a Cidade". Sim!, envolve algum trabalho de pesquisa na internet e media (provavelmente a parte que eu mais gosto) mas, á maneira antiga, muito corte, recorte e costura - e cola também!
My sister is one of my biggest supporters and critics as well (and I can't thank her enough for it!). Lately, whilst discussing my work, she was really keen on me having a post about the 'before and after' of my creative work.
After sleeping on this, I decided to overcome shyness and show you all how I create my Origami clothes pins.
Its not as glamorous as some bloggers make us believe. And it is not as effortless as Carrie make it sound in "sex and the City". There is a lot of internet and digital research (which I confess, I love!) but there is also old fashioned scrap book skills and hand sewing.

Implica, igualmente, muita desarrumação, mas eu prefiro chamar-lhe caos criativo ;)
Depois vem a atenção ao detalhe (remates escondidos, alfinete cosido á mão, logotipo em tecido, saquinho de tule, etiqueta individualizada... a lista é infinita).
Then everything gets a real mess or, as I call it, creatively chaotic ;)
There is also a lot of attention to detail (hidden finishes, hand sewing of the pin, fabric labels, organza bags, individual story tags... the list is endless).

No final sabe tão bem ver as pregadeiras todas juntas, coloridas, com os botões a brilhar e prontas para ir para o casaco de alguém especial.

In the end, it is so rewarding to see all the brooches together, full of colour, with shiny buttons and ready to go and live in the jacket of someone special.
